Villa Maria Health & Recovery is under new ownership! We have a vibrant therapy team with 8 full time staff members. We are looking to add to our dynamic team. Villa Maria offers short term and long term care and has a specialty focus for substance use disorder. There will also be an outpatient program that will be a part of the facility as well.
We are truly utilizing a community model that Tucson has never seen before. We would love to bring in a team member that can share in the creative programming and development for this specialty population. We are more than a treatment facility…we are a caring home and training center.

Duties include:
- Effectively screens/evaluates patients with communication, cognitive or swallowing disorders and develops appropriate plan of care following all regulatory and clinical practice standards.
- Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with communication, cognitive and/or swallowing disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
- Evaluates treatment outcomes for effectiveness. Services are modified in relation to patient evaluation and referrals are made in relation to outcomes.
- Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the speech disorders.
- Provides comprehensive discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
- Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy.
Experience/Qualifications:
AZ Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
