DIRECTOR OF REHABILITATION – SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST – FULL TIME – PINES MANOR – CLINTONVILLE, WI
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist looking to further advance or elevate their career. The Speech Therapist- DOR is responsible for the leadership, management, day to day operations and overall success of rehab services for the facility. This position will direct all three disciplines, to ensure that the highest quality rehab services are provided and in accordance with all laws, regulations, and company standards. This DOR will also be a treating therapist.

Pay: $105,000 to $115,000/year; pay will be based on experience/
Eligible for incentive/bonus!
Hours: Monday-Friday; weekends as needed
Responsibilities
- With clinician input, assigns patient caseload and other responsibilities to staff
- Supervises rehab staff and ensures effective rehab staff orientation, training and ongoing competency
- Coordinates rehab admissions and distribution of caseload including productivity management
- Ensures rehab department is providing skilled, clinically appropriate and evidence-based care.
- Develop quality standards for program outcomes, performance improvement, customer satisfaction data, documentation, educational needs, and clinical standards.
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in our residents.
- Assists in the case management/tracking of Medicare A rehab cases under the PDPM system
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of early intervention practices and building caseloads.
- Experience working in long term care
- Knowledge of the Medicare PDPM System preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
