Atlantic Memorial Healthcare is seeking a dynamic and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to spearhead the development of our new outpatient therapy program. This dual-role position involves providing high-quality physical therapy services while also engaging in community outreach and marketing efforts to build and expand our outpatient services.
Pay: $38 – $42 / hour
Schedule: Part time to Full time based on growth of program

Responsibilities:
– Conduct physical therapy sessions for outpatients.
– Develop and lead classes and wellness programs at independent and assisted living facilities.
– Promote outpatient therapy services to potential clients through presentations, workshops, and other outreach activities.
– Build and maintain relationships with community partners to enhance service visibility.
– Coordinate with the Director of Rehab to track program growth and patient outcomes.
– Assist with administrative tasks related to outpatient therapy services.
Qualifications:
– Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in California.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Experience in outpatient therapy services is preferred.
– Marketing or community outreach experience is a plus.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to various facilities.
