Julia Temple Healthcare located just south of Denver has a current opportunity open for a PRN or Part Time physical therapist. Requirements:
 
· Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program – New graduates encouraged!
 
· Current Colorado state licensure
 
· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
 
· Creative, results- driven with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
 
Position Summary:
 
The Physical Therapist provides hands on therapy services to skilled rehabilitation and long-term care clients in accordance with all State and Federal laws, practice regulations, and JuliaTemple standards. Julia Temple is a 128-bed facility home to 88 Long Term Care (LTC) residents with an additional 40 beds for patients admitting for skilled rehabilitation stays. Our therapy team is comprised of dynamic seasoned therapists as well as newly graduated therapists eager to learn and grow their clinical skills working alongside experienced mentors. We provide therapy 7 days per week with flexible schedules offered. We are well known throughout Colorado for our ability to accept and provide skilled rehabilitation for clients admitting for short stay rehabilitation who have Alzheimer’s and/or Dementia diagnoses on one of our secured skilled neighborhoods, in addition to having a second unsecured skilled neighborhood for client’s w/o cognitive deficits.  https://juliatemple.com

Duties: 
  • Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
  • Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment intervention to patients with physical functioning disorders per regulatory and clinical practice requirements under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist.
  • Administers various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan including but not limited to:  manual techniques; ambulation; therapeutic exercises; modalities; use of supportive and assistive devices; etc. Under the supervision and direction of a Physical Therapist.
  • Assesses patient’s progress and communicates with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments accordingly in the clinical record per regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
  • Provides consultation and counseling to patients, as well as families, caregivers and other service providers related to the physical disorders.
  • Provides input to supervisor for discharge summary of services provided per regulatory and clinical requirements.
  • Documents all regulatory and clinically required information in the electronic documentation system and maintains patient records according to company policy.
